MARY "ASHLEY"
I am a United States native, born and raised in California. I have a variety of knowledge in acting, singing, gymnastics, baking, cooking, veganism, spirituality/meditation, biochemistry, fashion design and styling, and different cultures around the world. I have 7 years of teaching experience and 4 years of online teaching. In addition to online teaching, I am the head of the children's department at a non-profit organization and I travel and teach a variety of subjects including English/ESL to children in Mexico. I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance in ESL, inspiring students' interest in a variety of subjects in English, and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. I am TEFL certified and to solicit engaged learning I utilize a variety of techniques when teaching online such as Modeling, Triple P, and TPR (Total Physical Response). My skills are pronunciation correction, sentence structure, and conversation building. Not every student learns the same so I do my best to evaluate your child in order to efficiently teach him/her using tools that cater to his specific learning ability. My goal for your child is to teach him/her to be an independent fluent speaker in a short amount of time. I can't wait to see your child in my class!
AMANDA
Hello! My name is Amanda. I am 31 years old and I live in Houston, Texas, with my husband John. I have a bachelors degree in early childhood education and a 140 hour TEFL certificate and I have been teaching for 5 years. I worked for two years in a Public Elementary School in Virginia and for the past 3 years I've been teaching students from multiple countries online.

I also have some experience working with students with special needs, things like ADD or ADHD, autism, developmental delays, emotional problems, those kinds of things. I really try to make my classroom an inclusive place where all of my students can feel safe and know that their teacher belives in them and cares for them, and that they feel free that they can take risks and they just feel safe in my classroom.

I love teaching because teaching should be fun, learning should be fun. I love helping my students to understand new things and to relate those things to their lifes so it becomes more real. I really try to help my students develop a love of learning that they can take with them beyond my classroom. In my free time I really enjoy crocheting and listening to music and watercolor painting. So I hope to see you, kids, in the classroom soon. Bye-bye!

NICOLE
Hello! My name is Nikki. I live in New York with my husband and three adorable children. I have been teaching ESL online since 2013. I have a Bachelors in Agricultural Economics and a Masters in Business Administration. I am also TEFL and TESOL Certified. Aside from teaching, I also worked as a Business Development Analyst in a Healthcare M&A firm and I am also a Licensed Notary Public.

Teaching children is a passion that I love to keep on pursuing. I may say I have a calling to teach. Also being a mother of 3 enables me to interact, engage and understand what goes through a student's mind.

To the parents, please allow me to be part of your children's everyday lives, and I assure you that they will enjoy every minute of learning. Oh, when I'm not working, I love to cook, sing (karaoke!), read and play the guitar!
LINDSEY
Hello, my name is Lindsey and I live in the North of England.
I qualified as a TEFL teacher in 2016 and I have had over four years experience teaching English to students all over the world both in the classroom and online. It is so fulfilling to know that you have helped somebody to improve with their English skills.

Sometimes students need to improve for their academic needs but lots of students wish to succeed for personal reasons. Whatever the reason, it is always a great feeling to know that you have helped somebody. I love to meet new students at all levels of English and to see how we can work together to get the best results.

I look forward to seeing you in the classroom.
AMY
Hello! My name's Amy and I'm very excited to learn with you! I've been teaching online for almost three years, and love working with children. I received my bachelor's degree in chemistry from Slippery Rock University in 2018 and also hold a 120 Hour TESOL certification. In total I've taught close to 2,000 classes online.
Being a chemist by trade, curiosity as well as the need for discovery are in my nature. While educating, I like to incorporate these key attributes into each lesson I teach, and help all my students grow in their pursuit of language. I hope to learn as much as I can about each child I meet, and how I can make the learning experience rewarding for each party at hand.
To know a little bit more about myself, I like to knit, make jewelry and hike in my free time. I (of course) love to read as well! With that being said, I hope to see you soon in my classroom!

Hello, my name is Joanna Michelle, but you can call me Teacher Michelle. I'm from Anaheim, California. Currently I live in Mexico. I am 26 years old. I have been teaching English as a Second Language to students of all ages and levels, from beginners up to advanced. I teach online and in-person. I have taught adults for over 4 years and children for over 2 years. I have a bachelor's degree in nursing. I studied in the University of Guerrero. I have a 120 hour TESOL certificate.

Currently I am a preschool English teacher in Mexico. I love giving classes to little ones. Can you imagine, they start learning English at the age of 3! I also give English classes in the evenings to students ages 6 up to 45 years. As an online English teacher I have gotten the opportunity to teach English to students from all over the world, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Mexican, Brazilian, Saudi Arabians, etc.

I help students learn the 5 skills, listening, speaking, reading, writing and grammar. I help build vocabulary, fluency and pronunciation. My teaching style is being kind, patient and fun, because when I was a child I moved to Mexico with my parents, I didn't speak Spanish by that time. I understand exactly how you feel in learning a new language. That's why I began to teach English, to help others feel comfortable. I love making my classes full of fun and laughter.
